No worries, i've always wanted to learn to draw comic style. Don't suppose you have any handy tips or tutorials?
Well I haven't got any tutorials, but my advice would be to just concentrate on the lines- you don't need as much detail as you think in the initial pencils as you add a lot of that with shading. A lot of my early drawings looked messy because I tried to do too much with the initial sketch
